SERVICES OFFERED TO THE PUBLIC

To give students maximum training opportunities, Hacienda La
Puente Career & Technical Education Programs offer a wide range of services to the public.

Computer Repair & Networking offers - Computer repair services and home network set up advice are free to members of the community.

Child Development Mentor Training - Students from the Program & Principles program volunteer hours in classrooms across our district, Rowland District Options, and private centers .

Major Appliance Service & Repair - has private industry partners such as Whirlpool and BestBuy. It specializes training on the newest products in the field and internships.

The Automotive Technician - program offers auto repair services to the community. Services such as oil change, brake inspections, and other diagnostics. Contact (626) 934-2932.

Optical Technician Services - The center offers students, faculty, staff and families the opportunity to have an eye exam, purchase eye and sunglasses at substantial savings. We are also open to the public on a limited basis for outside prescriptions. For appointments and information call (626) 934-2940. All work done by students.

Cosmetology Services - All work done by students only. Low cost services. Children under 15 must be supervised. Client and child cannot receive service at the same time. No children under 5. No personal checks accepted.

Dental Assistant/Children’s Clinic - Wednesdays and Fridays: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Providing quality dental care to financially disadvantaged children, ages 2 to 14, who have no dental or Medi-Cal insurance and are eligible for the Federal Free or Reduced Lunch program. $20 per visit.
