Cosmetology

State Licensed Training Program

Our programs provide students with ongoing advanced education leading to opportunities for higher paying jobs. Many of our graduates are working in the best salons, spas, clinics and movie studios.

Total hours: 1000 hours 

The Cosmetology program consists of lectures and practical demonstrations of methods and techniques to prepare students for the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology licensure exam. The curriculum consists of 1000 clock hours divided into three levels. The program covers all phases of cosmetology, esthetics and manicuring concurring with guidelines issued by the State Board. Students work on mannequins and live models to develop practical experience utilizing safe practices in a salon setting. 

Enrollees must have at least a 10th grade education received from a state-approved and accredited school. All instructors are licensed and credentialed.

Must attend Appraisal prior to enrollment.

Cost: Tuition $2,100, uniform (2 uniform shirts) $50, kits (Jazz Z Beauty kit, Dermafirm kit) $1,131, books $401 (approx.), insurance $18 and ID badge $5.
