Medical Biller and Coder
Total hours: 300 hours
Co-requisite: Basic Medical Terminology.
This entry level course covers ICDM10 CM and coding, risk management and HCPCS/CPT coding and its principles. A Biller/Coder is employed by medical offices, HMO’s, insurance companies, and hospitals to perform coding/billing, claim search, and authorizing procedures.

Cost: Tuition $540, ID badge $5, insurance $18, (see instructor for required book to be purchased by the student).

This semester long course introduces students to the fundamentals of medical terminology,including commonly used word roots, prefixes, suffixes, abbreviations, and symbols utilized inhealthcare settings
