California Distance Learning Project This website has news stories with interactive vocabulary exercises for Beg. High to Int. Low students. The "Full Story" is also available for Int. High and above, but no vocabulary lessons are included. The life skills topics include working, law and government, family, school, health and safety, housing, money, science and technology, services, going places and nature. For each topic, there are 10 to 20 news stories with audio files, and sometimes an accompanying video news story.
